Engineering story
Custom engineering for nighttime backup
01 / Operating requirement
The client needed longer backup at night, after solar-generation hours.
02 / Site constraint
Rooftop space for solar was limited because the restaurant is in a high-storey building.
03 / Design response
Stanol Solarize designed around the client's operating needs and available installation space, with comparatively large battery storage relative to PV capacity to extend nighttime backup.
Matching the client's backup needs and site constraints, rather than maximizing PV capacity, was the design objective.
